BUILD MORE MUSCLE WITH THESE TEMPTING MACRO-FRIENDLY PROTEIN SHAKES
Protein shakes are a great way to hit your protein goals for the day, but let’s be honest – it can get boring if you’re making the same old shake day after day!
I want to give you a few recipes that can help mix up your protein shake game and make them something you look forward to every day! These four are some of my favorite shakes to have throughout the week, plus they taste like dessert. I even threw in some of my favorite fall shakes, just in case you’re over summer and ready for a cozy fall treat.
But they don’t only taste great. They can help you hit your macro goals each day and make sure your body is getting a solid serving of protein.
LET'S TALK BODYBYBREE PROTEIN POWDER
As a personal trainer and nutritionist, I’ve tried my fair share of protein powders, but I realized early on that these mainstream products were loaded with fillers and artificial ingredients that were leaving me feeling bloated and uncomfortable. OK, we’re starting out with one that sounds like it couldn’t possibly be packed with protein and healthy macros, but I’m here to tell ya – IT IS. This coconut protein shake truly tastes like a dessert drink, but it’s also a really great way to hit some of your macros for the day, especially if you’re struggling to get enough protein. And as soon as you taste it, it’s going to become a new favorite in your protein shake rotation.
- ½ cup unsweetened coconut milk
- ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 scoop BodyByBree Chocolate Protein
- ¼ tsp coconut flavoring
- 1 cup crushed ice
Blend, add 2 tbsp of unsweetened coconut and pulse.
GO-TO GREENS SMOOTHIE

As my go-to Greens Smoothie, I can’t say enough good things about this recipe. The banana gives it that touch of sweetness and the spinach and vanilla powder round out the smoothie with a hefty dose of protein. Plus, if I’m feeling like I need a cleansing and energizing start to the day, this is often the first thing on my mind!
- 8 oz unsweetened almond milk
- 1 scoop BodyByBree Vanilla Protein
- ½ cup strawberries
- ½ a banana
- 2 cups raw baby spinach
- 1 scoop BodyByBree Greens
- 4 - 6 ice cubes
Blend and enjoy!
ORANGE JULIUS

If you’re an orange fan , this shake is super yummy, and it brings that citrus flavor in, which perfectly complements the hints of vanilla. If you don’t have liquid vanilla at home, you won’t be missing out because my BBB protein powder will still pull the whole flavor combo together.
- 1 scoop BodyByBree Vanilla Protein
- 8 oz unsweetened almond milk
- ¼ cup frozen mango chunks
- 1 - 2 tbsp OJ concentrate
- 1 scoop ice
- ½ tsp vanilla

PUMPKIN PIE PROTEIN SHAKE

This one is especially fun if you’re ready to jump into the fall festivities but want to make sure you’re hitting those nutrients. It’s unbelievably easy, SO DELICIOUS, and uses my Vanilla Protein powder to hit your protein goals. . It really tastes like a treat, but look at that macro breakdown!
- 1 cup almond milk
- ¼ cup pumpkin puree
- 1 scoop BodyByBree Vanilla Protein
- ½ tsp pumpkin pie seasoning
- 1 cup crushed ice
