Congratulations on recently having your baby! This is such an exciting time for you. I'd recommend the Body After Baby Programs if you've had a baby in the last three months or if you have more than a two finger ab separation. The workouts are still really challenging but if you need them to be more difficult after you get started, we can adjust but I want to help you protect your pelvic floor muscles.

8 Week Training Program Includes:

Equipment Needed for Home Workouts:

  • One medium free weight (5lb-15lb). weight set that is challenging for you.
  • A bench is also great but not required. You could use something else like a piano bench, stair, sturdy chair etc. 
  • Some moves include a yoga ball, disc sliders and booty bands to add variety and enhance the moves. If you would like to get these booty bands, and disc sliders I promise you will love them!

Love this program! Not only is it keeping me accountable but consistent with my physical and mental health. When working out I wish the sets that have to be timed had a timer we could click on. Just so I don’t have to go from the app to my phone timer.

8 Week Independent Postpartum Training

I started the 8 week individual postpartum training program at 7 weeks postpartum. I worked out my entire pregnancy and have been counting macros for about a year.

Pros
-support from other women in the body by Bree chat group
-macro count helped maintain my milk supply
-education week has some good information
-some good recipes included in the nutrition plan
-encouragement throughout
-helped motivate me to start working out again

Cons
-Ab workouts that auto drop with the workouts are not always safe for postpartum moms so you have to be careful! You can sub other workouts in for these, but isn’t the purpose of a postpartum program so that you don’t have to worry about this?
-the postpartum abs phases 1-4 do not automatically drop into your daily workouts. It would be nice if each phase was loaded for 2 weeks and then you can adjust based on what you feel ready for.
-phase 1 of postpartum abs workout is the only one with audio instruction.
-some of the workout video clips were a little glitchy where you couldn’t hear what Bree was saying or the video would just flash for a second. Most were good, but I think someone on her team could revisit this to make them better.
-warmup and cool down routines do not automatically drop into each days workout. Another thing that you have to add to your workouts every day. Lots of adjustments that you have to make.
-Body by Bree is not compatible with the Lose It App (only my fitness pal)

Good, but not great for new postpartum Moms.
I hope the BBB team takes these suggestions and makes a beginner postpartum program for women starting to workout at 6 weeks and an advance postpartum program for women 6 months and up. I bought the program at a discount so I think it was worth it, but if I paid full price I would be disappointed.

I Couldn't be more happy with this amazing program. Im not going to lie i was a little skeptical and didnt know if it really would work or if it was just another fitness fad. I have learned so much from Bree and her team! I wasnt always the happiest with my results but when I look at my pictures now im so happy and the i am still happy not starving and miserable only eating 1300 calories. I was so so scared to eat 1800 calories but I lost 8 pounds the last 8 weeks!! Im so happy and have learned to love my body foe all it does. I would recommend this program to everyone!! This is a life style change not a quick fix!

Stronger in everything

I bought this program as a Christmas present to myself after having a baby. I liked being able to do something that I can continue as a lifestyle change. I have done many programs but this one definitely left me feeling incredibly strong after just 8 weeks!

Love this program!

I have wanted to train with Bree for years and finally did it— and am so glad! The workouts are my favorite part. I’ve been a cardio addict for too long, and learned so many new things from Bree’s workouts and feel so much stronger. Macros were for sure a learning curve, but it was eye-opening to eat what I wanted, feel full and still see results. I’m going to buy a continuation, I can’t really imagine not having her daily workouts ready for me in the app!
