These recipes are so good and it’s so nice to not have to cook 2 different meals for my family-one for me and one for them. Bree makes sticking to your macros so easy!!! And delicious!
I don’t feel like the recipes are friendly to the average person. They are all very weird combinations and require ingredients you can’t find at a normal grocery store. I live in an area where we don’t have any special grocery store that purchasing these ingredients is an option. I won’t be purchasing another cookbook in the future.
I love the recipes in here. Love trying new recipes every week. My family loves it too. Thank you Bree for this.
Nourish Fall/Winter Collection
I’ve had other macro cookbooks and this one is just ok. Ingredients and servings aren’t specific enough especially in todays world when produce sizes could vary significantly and medium and small don’t mean anything these days anymore. Also using cups instead of grams as measurements decreases accuracies since you can’t measure specific enough because you don’t know if it should be packed etc. I’ve tried multiple recipes already and the recipes are ok. I have found other recipe books like Lillie eats and tell are far better since she maximizes the amount of food you can eat for the macros and she uses grams for everything even your serving sizes. This cookbook you get a lot less food for your macros and your serving size could say 1/6th of the sauce that is very difficult to figure out exactly. I don’t regret buying I just don’t know how much I’ll use them when I like others better. Hope this helps others.
We appreciate your feedback. We intentionally use standard cooking measurements to help our clients transition to eating intuitively with their macros. We hope you find recipes that become family favorites like so many of our users!
